CAI-NJ Mentorship Program

New for 2023, CAI-NJ is rolling out the very first industry Mentorship Program!

As a mentee, you will be matched with an experienced industry professional who will serve as your mentor for a full calendar year. CAI-NJ mentors serve to support the interest of existing, new, and young professional members throughout their careers. Through individual contact, mentors will be a resource and will serve as coaches within a defined period agreed upon by mentors and mentees. Mentors will be knowledgeable in their fields and will serve as a guide for members to further advance their work, goals and career.

CAI-NJ mentees will be coached to identify the skills, and resources desired to achieve specific career goals, work-related issues or projects. Through individual contact, mentees will identify gaps in knowledge and build a rapport with a well-matched mentor. Mentees will be forthcoming about their needs early in the relationship to help further shape a plan to address areas for growth within their careers and knowledge in the association industry.
