Jennifer Nevins, CMCA has been with DW Smith Associates since 1988, and has been a Principal of the firm since 2001. Most recently, DW Smith became part of the PS&S family, offering enhanced professional services to the Community Association Industry including engineering, surveying, architecture, MEPF, landscape design and construction management services. Ms. Nevins currently serves as the Chapter President for CAI-NJ and was elected to serve on the CAI Business Council for CAI National starting in January 2020. Ms. Nevins has been an advocate for women’s leadership and has been recognized as a leading entrepreneur by many industry organizations. She is dedicated to her community and is involved with numerous charitable causes. Her most recent undertaking was to author three family cookbooks, dedicated to her parents, that document her family’s recipes and history for future generations.

Jeff Logan has a keen eye for business opportunities, and his experience in residential real estate helps him discern between different property needs and identify potential areas of improvement. His added experience in property management for 12 years prior to joining Guardian helps has helped Guardian had better understand managerial needs and wants. He ensures that Guardian adheres to the quality it promises and oversees client-relationship management, tracks new markets and emerging trends, and simultaneously helps Guardian adapt to market changes. His team members often applaud him for his exceptional presentation skills, integrity, professionalism, and teamwork. He has served on numerous industry committees and has spoken at educational seminars on both the manager side and service provider side. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.

Mark Wetter has been a partner with the Law Firm of Radom & Wetter for 25 years, focusing a good deal of his practice representing community associations. Mr. Wetter has been a member of the CAI-NJ Board of Directors for several years and has served on the Executive Committee for the past two years. Prior to serving on the Board, Mr. Wetter served on several committees for CAI-NJ. For over 20 years, Mr. Wetter has dedicated significant time with charitable entities in New Jersey and Pennsylvania that support the battle against breast cancer. Most importantly, Mr. Wetter is dedicated to his wife and two adult children.

Loren Rosenberg Lightman is currently the President Elect of the Chapter’s Board of Directors. Ms. Lightman has served as a member on multiple Chapter committees and is a prior past chair of the Chapter’s business partner committee. She has written articles for Community Trends and has presented at CAI Chapter and national events including CAI’s Annual Law Seminar. Ms. Lightman is a partner of Hill Wallack LLP in the Princeton, NJ office and is a member of the firm’s Community Association Law practice group. Ms. Lightman concentrates her practice in the representation of community associations.

Tony Nardone is a veteran Real Estate Entrepreneur who has expertly mastered the property management field. At a young age, Tony was fascinated with Legos and Lincoln Logs. Since his early days, he knew his passion was in the real estate field. Tony has come out with a deep appreciation of where he’s come from and has passed his core values onto his children. When he’s not deep in Real Estate he spends his time with his wife and three children coaching, attending sporting events or relaxing on vacation.

Benjamin Basch

Benjamin Basch is Chief Development Officer with American Pool Enterprises, the largest swimming pool management firm in North America. Benjamin began his career in Baltimore, Maryland and moved to New Jersey in 1996 to expand American Pool’s service footprint. He earned his MBA at NJIT in 2010 and is currently responsible for the company’s strategic account relationships, as well as marketing and lifeguard programs.

Vanessa J Davenport

Vanessa J. Davenport has earned a BA in Economics, an MBA in Corporate Finance and a Master’s in Ed. Admin/School Finance at Fordham University. Ms. Davenport’s career in education began in the NYC Department of Education and continued when she left there to join the NJ State Department of Education where she has spent the last 21 years. Ms. Davenport is currently an Executive County School Business Administrator assigned to their Somerset County Office of Education. She first became involved with CAI-NJ in 2017 when she served on the Editorial Committee and then continued her involvement when she was asked to serve on CAI-NJ’s search committees. She is currently President of the Board of Directors for her homeowner’s association and began serving on CAI-NJ’s Board of Directors in January of 2020.

Christopher Nicosia

Christopher Nicosia is proud to be serving in his third year as a Board Member of CAI-NJ. Prior to joining the Board, Mr. Nicosia was a member and previous Vice Chair of the Managers Committee. Mr. Nicosia is a principal of Prime Management serving as the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and has over fifteen years of experience in residential and commercial property management and developer consulting. He has published in Community Trends on topics relating to energy efficiency, LED lighting, budgeting, reserves and financial controls. As a trained mediator, he frequently provides ADR mediation services through CAI-NJ. Mr. Nicosia has obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and a Master’s Degree in Management as well as multiple industry certifications and designations. He is also a classically trained vocalist and performs regularly, including performances at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in NYC, the Academy of the Arts in Philadelphia, NJPAC in Newark as well as multiple church and performance venues throughout the tri-state area

Donna is currently the Regional Vice President of Taylor Management Company’s Central Region and oversees and supervises all the employees and clients within the region. She has worked in this industry for over forty years and with Taylor Management Company directly for the last ten (10) years. She is an active member of CAI and has served as a NJ Chapter Board Member for the last five years. Donna has been a member of CAI for over 25 years and has actively participated in many CAI committees throughout that time.

Charles Lavine was a founding member of the Board of Directors for Traditions at Federal Point Condominium Association in 2004. Mr. Lavine has served multiple terms on the board, as well as, serving as both Vice President & President. He was asked to join the first CAVL Committee of CAI-NJ, where he served as Vice Chair & two terms as Chair. He has been active in CAI for ten years and involved in attending various events.

Mohammed Salyani, a Principal at WilkinGuttenplan, joined the firm in 2001. He specializes in providing audit, review and compilation services to not-for-profit organizations, closely held businesses and real estate entities such as community associations. He is a Co-Practice Leader of the Firm’s Community Associations group. For his real estate clients, he also often performs consulting services and agreed-upon procedures including fraud detection, forecasting and transition reports for sponsors and management companies. Mohammed is a member of the NJCPA, a member of the Minnesota State Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA), a fellow member of the association of chartered certified accountants (FCAA(UK)), a member and the outgoing President of the CAI-NJ Chapter, and a past chairman for CAI-NJ Conference & Expo Committee. He speaks frequently and writes numerous articles on topics of interest to community associations. Prior to joining WilkinGuttenplan Mohammed worked for a public accounting firm in Kenya where he performed audit work for hotels, banks and closely held businesses.
