General Membership

Committee sign-ups take place annually in October. You can fill out the committee sign up form to request your choice of committee participation.
You can view all of our events and education by clicking the following link.

Yes, while you can access our events, education, and most of the other important information available, in order to access all areas of our CAI-NJ website, you will need to log in.

A CAI-NJ Membership Committee will reach out to you right away. You will begin to receive email communications within a month and our printed magazines within two months, as lists are pulled prior to the months they are scheduled to go out.

Events

By registering for an CAI-NJ event, the registrant acknowledges that they are responsible to pay the full registration fee at the time of registration. Registrations will not be processed until all previous outstanding balances are paid in full. Cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to the event in order to receive a refund. Swaps can be made at any time. This includes The Awards Celebration, Spring Break Party, Golf Outing, Beach Party and Pre-Conference Reception.
Each event or program has its own specific policy. Please refer to the registration form for information. For most networking events, non-members may attend at a premium registration fee.
Our pre-registration typically closes 48 hours prior to an in-person event. However, on-site registration is available for some events unless otherwise noted on the registration form or website.

Yes, exhibitors of the previous year will all be contacted first regarding booking the same booth that they had for the upcoming Conference & Expo.

Education

Yes, CAI-NJ offers continuing education credits, approved by CAMICB for our Lecture & Education Series, Roundtables, and various other educational events. Please refer to the registration form for each educational event as to how many credits you will receive.
Yes, once community association managers take the m-100 class, they may attend New Jersey chapter review session, Coffee & Cram. This was created to prepare community association managers for the CMCA exam and is presented several times throughout the year.

Organizations or individuals who have demonstrated the ability to design, implement, and evaluate continuing education programs for community association managers may submit the Continuing Education Course Provider Application to become a CAMICB approved education provider. ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) Mediation

Each case is different. However, once your ADR request form is filled out in its entirety and payment is submitted, CAI-NJ will work to schedule a mediator right away. Once a mediator is assigned, they will contact both parties and work to get a mediation schedule as soon as possible.

Yes, CAI-NJ is still accepting ADR applications at this time.

CAI-NJ is monitoring the current health crisis and our mediators are looking into using Zoom as an alternative to in person meetings, when requested.

Advertising

All CAI-NJ members that are current as of, January 1 of the year will be included in that year’s printed directory at no charge. Business partners receive one category listed at no charge. However, they can expand their listing in additional categories for a nominal fee.
Although current CAI-NJ members are listed in the printed directory at no charge, they would not be listed in the online directory unless they registered for it. As, the CAI-NJ online directory is an additional paid service reserved only for members.
Yes, CAI-NJ currently offers several opportunities to advertise including in our monthly magazine, Community Trends, on our online directory, in our printed directory, with our yearly Partnership Program and at various events and education.
