Charged with developing some of the best networking experiences available from the NJ chapter of CAI, the Networking Events Committee is charged to plan and coordinate Spring or Winter Break Party, Beach Party and Pre-Conference Networking Reception. They establish an event theme and create the decorations, when necessary. They assist the chapter with securing event sponsorships and encourage attendance from the membership for the event. The committee helps with the day of event activities, including set-up prior and shifts at registration. The committee also will solicit door prizes when necessary.
The Spring/ Winter Break, is purely a networking event with cocktail style stations and open bar. This event is designed to provide ample time to mix and mingle with other attendees from the community association industry.
The Beach Party, held annually at Martell’s Tiki Bar in Point Pleasant, is the best know event of the industry. Boasting nearly 700 attendees annually, this large scale networking opportunity allows for attendees to meet hundreds of potential clients and vendors in a causal, fun atmosphere.
As a kick off to the Annual Conference and Expo, the Pre-Conference Reception is hosted the evening prior to the tradeshow. It is a great opportunity to see who will be visiting your booth the next day, and allows for some casual conversations while enjoying the entertainment of cocktails and the Top Golf Swing Suite.
